Here's the kicker, 11:00 News just said they're being charged, as juveniles, with "manslaughter" Some kooks should just be shot on sight so they never get the chance to reprodce.

CROFTON, Md. - A 14-year-old boy is dead after being attacked while riding his bicycle, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Detectives say Christopher David Jones, 14, of the Crofton, Md., was fatally attacked by five to seven other teens while riding his bike down Nantucket Drive in Crofton around 4:00 p.m. Saturday. He was found lying in the roadway and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses at the scene were able to help identify multiple suspects, but no charges have been filed at this time. Detectives believe Jones knew his attackers and the incident was not random. Still, a motive for the attack remains unclear. An autopsy will be conducted Sunday, according to police.

Anne Arundel County detectives investigating the case have arrested 16-year-old Javel Marqueth George of Montauk Drive in Crofton; George is being charged as an adult with manslaughter, among other charges. A 14-year-old suspect from Crofton was also arrested on the same charges; he is charged as a juvenile.

The article said what the original post said when I posted it in it's entirety.

Shouldn't be manslaughter charges -- should be murder. Local radio show said they've randomly attacked people before and the Cops wanted a reason to arrest them. Once they attacked a kid who went to the police, the courts let them off with a small fine and probation.

Courts don't do anything around here. Unless the County's desperate, then they'll refile old, dropped charges or charges in which the fine was already paid.
