Busch Series driver Kevin Grubb has been indefinitely suspended by NASCAR for violation of its substance abuse policy, officials confirmed Tuesday.
An official announcement of Grubb's suspension is coming Tuesday afternoon.
Grubb becomes the second Busch driver in six months to be suspended for violation of the policy. Driver Shane Hmiel was suspended Sept. 18, 2003.
Hmiel was reinstated last month following a his participation in a program of counseling and random drug testing.
Grubb, 25, was running a partial schedule this season with Team Rensi, which fields the No. 25 Fords for Bobby Hamilton Jr. He had not yet entered a race this season.
Last year, Grubb made 25 starts and finished 19th in series points with two top-10 finishes. His most recent race was Nov. 8, 2003, at Rockingham, N.C.

Man this really makes me mad, these kids obviously don't know how good they've got it and to just screw it up like that.
