Ahhhh, but he was an Independant (well officially "Reform") candidate..........and by that fact alone, there are some here that believe he is the best man for the job.
He had a rather large following here in cheeseheadland. TRL, what was the issue with the teachers?
NW, he convinced Mark White that the problem with the Texas public school system was that most of the teachers were incompetent idiots. So, the state spent millions of dollars developing a test to find out. Spent millions giving the test and then getting it graded.
98% of the teachers in Texas passed all parts of the test on the first try.
Never heard another thing about us being incompetent again.
Needless to say, Mark White was not re-elected, and H. Ross didn't win any friends, either.
