Anybody catch the comment made by the last Petty grandson about thanking the Harvicks and Childress for keeping them in the sport? Thought it was kinda odd considering they are long time chevy guys and the Pettys never have been. Anybody know how they are helping?

I didn't get a chance to watch this yet but I did hear some of this on SIRIUS/XM NASCAR 90. I can't wait until I get the chance to go back down there again to check out the HOF. By the time I make it they'll probably have about 25+ inducted. I see that this is to be moved to January or the beginning of February next year. I understand that they are trying to make it more of a story during the off season but they'll be head up against the NFL playoffs. Sounds like a lose, lose, situation to me.

While everyone's freaking out and overreacting over the Busch incident, I figured I'd bring this to the top again.

So far, I've only watch the first three inductions. Bud Moore, Lee Petty, Ned Jarrett. Jarret's acceptance speech was, by far the longest, but that whole part was also the most sincere, most touching and best of the three. I truly know why he's called "Gentleman Ned"

Finally watched the whole show, and have to say it was fantastic! I wish the awards banquet could follow this style.
