Team Rensi on Monday afternoon announced an immediate driver change for its No. 25 NASCAR Busch Series team, claiming they were releasing driver Bobby Hamilton Jr. to allow him to "devote the remainder of the 2004 season to his Nextel Cup career."
There was just one problem. Hamilton Jr. never asked for such a courtesy.

Bobby Jr.

I don't care much for that snot nosed thing anyway, and I'm sure not gonna wish him good luck.

Like the "snot nosed thing" or not...........that is one hell of a way to treat a driver. It's under handed and childish. Certainly not a way to run a professional business like a full time Busch team. Bobby hasn't done all that bad this season and he, at least, deserved some notification a bit earlier than from some reporter during an interview.........being blind sided in public is the cheapest of cheap shots. I hope he gets a ride for Bristol...........and tosses the 25 car to wall every chance he gets!!

Reminds me of a Cup owner..........does Ganassi ring any bells?

My lord, I love how some folks form opinions without really having any idea of what actually transpired to bring about the events they're forming those opinions about.
And then they start to degrade drivers, team owners, sponsors or whomever the media choses to make out to be the bad guy in the particular incident.

But that's just human nature, I guess.

As for hoping that someone tosses another car into the wall every chance he gets, that is showing the whole world just what a simple minded, stupid , childish, snot-nosed, little kid attitude some adults are capable of.

Not a good way to be at all!

The team probably felt like he was being distracted by concentrating so much on the Cup team. I guess they felt like they were being short-changed.

AMEN!!! You can like and dislike anyone you want!

If anyone can get behind the wheel of a racecar and with stand the heat and strees for hours or even a 25 lap A-Main at the locial short track i will respect them

but as for Bobby Sr. and Bobby Jr. Twiddle de, and Twiddle dumb......cant stand any of them

I don't care much for Bobby or Bobby jr. But didn't see that comming. Why boot a driver out of a car when he is 8th in points. Don't make since to me. I sure there are reasons. They don't tell us everything you know.
