The fault lay with the racing manager who told him what to say at the interview the individual in question has been fired and it should be left at that.

F1 is always embroiled in some odd controversey, if it isn't Indy, it is something weird like this. Too bad they can't get their act together, provide actual racing once in awhile instead of follow the leader stuff. They would get a hell of a lot more viewers and maybe even a race fan like me.
