These days, Hamlin is pretty much wrecking every week. A lot of the wrecks are blown tires which are "out of his hands" -- or so it seems. Consider this:
Dover was the race things began to turn bad for him. He got the pole and had run up front the whole day but blew a tire late. I will give Denny the benefit of the doubt and will say he ran over something -- as it didnt appear that he was pushing his car that hard. However at the next 2 races, he lost major ground in the standings, even at Pocono when he finsihed 8th. Imo after that, Denny begun to push the car too hard. At Sonoma, he had a rough day and got involved in a couple wrecks. At Kentucky, he was trying to make his way through the field but drove too hard -- hence the blown tire. At Daytona, I think he was just being to agressive and just plain lost it. At Loudon, he overdrove the car and lost ANOTHER tire, though he was lucky that it didnt cause him to wreck.
So the conclusion? Denny isnt sucking so badly because of luck, not because of his injury, but because the stress is on and he crumples under high amounts of stress.
