Up in them thar hills, ya don't see too many people hang gliding. So one day Old Zeek decided that he'd like to try it. He bought the equipment, rigged it up and then went running on the top of a big hill 'till he took off and soared into the sky, yelling "YEOW".
Maw and Pa Abner were sittin on the front porch swing when Maw said, "I've never seen such a big bird". Pa says, "git my gun" and maw gits it.
Pa shoots off both barrels, but the "bird" sails off over the trees.
Maw says, "I think ya missed it"
Paw says, "Ya, but at least it let old Zeek go".
