HAPPY FATHERS DAY

My old man went to IHOP today. Man, he's havin' a good day! :lol:
 
Today was the 42nd as a dad for me.

Son and his girlfriend dropped by yesterday and we got to spend a couple hours out back working on one of his friends pickups. Most time we've spent together in quite a while. They also gave me a new pair of Mechanix Wear M-pact gloves. Mine were all getting pretty well worn out and since I don't work in the shop every day anymore, I'm too cheap to spend the bucks to replace them. Oh yeah, there was a neat '56 Ford pick-up, special edition NAPA die-cast for my collection too. They stopped yesterday because he had to spend today up at the race shop getting the BGNN car together for the open test day at NHIS later this month.
Nice day.

Today the wife and I spent most of the day out in the yard, got some new plants put in, I finally managed to get the transmission out of one of my broken tractors and we just finished a quite dinner. Last Friday I won a parts tractor over in Albany which has the transmisson I need for a great price and we're going over to pick it up next weekend.

Daughter and her family were supposed to come over but she thinks she is going into labor; we're getting another grandson today, tomorrow or whenever the little rascal decides he wants to join us.

Great father's day gift for anyone, right? Just about the best one I can think of!

It's been a pretty goodl day for me!

Hey Kat, my two kittys just asked me to let you know that even they are keeping you in their thoughts and prayers.
They tell me that anybody who loves kittykats as much as you do and posts so many neat kittykat pictures for all to enjoy, deserves all the best of both and that they sure hope things turn around for you soon.
 
Did I say today was a pretty good day?

Thought some nice smells were reaching me from the kitchen. Went to check and found a big batch of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

Man, it just don't get much better than that!
