Thanks aboo, and isn't unexpected overnite company (all of them too many buds to drive) a real pizzoff!!!!!

My guy IS looking good, but so is yours. PURRRRRRRRRRRRR

I've actually never had unexpected overnight company. :(

Not here, at least.

Two couples, with cases for each, followed hubby's cab at his invite.

MEN!!!!!!!

Lucky me, just switched on the tele in time to see ol' Booby going into the wall during HH.:(

Ready for Daytona 2003......

You can't think ahead now with such a great championship finale ahead of us.

Isn't there eight more races this year? Or did NASCAR sneak another rule change in about season ending when Bobby smacks the wall at Kansas during Happy Hour?:(

Bobby may not be the hunt, as my guy certainly isn't, but there still appears to be one hell of a good points race going on......right up to Homestead!:) I'm looking forward to Daytona 2003 too.......clean slate and a whole new season of yellin, screamin, hollerin for all our favorites!!:D :D Then this time next year we will be right where we are now........some happy, some not so happy but all cheering the drivers of our choice. Go Jr!!!:calpping: :calpping:

Looks like Team BAM is going to strike again this week! Goodbye Stuart Kirby's career, you are another BAM victim!

Maybe the team wouldn't be such a joke if it wasn't given as a birthday gift. All I can say is good luck, but I know it's only a matter of time.

If you are talking about BAM, it wouldn't be such a joke if it were run by competent owners.......owners who treat the team as a racing business. Not as a hobby for a rich woman who happens to like NASCAR races. You have to know a little about the business.........a passing interest doesn't quite do it.

Agreed, DE_Wrangler_2 . They are running on a limited budget, but I doubt they are really getting the most out of their team. Ron Hornaday was really suprised when he went over to that team about how off the set-ups on the cars were and how they weren't listening to Shawna Robinson to make the changes. Even this weekend with Stuart Kirby, they just have him in the car b/c they think it will be exciting to watch him race with the Veterans. Team BAM is just making a mockery of our sport and the effort teams put into their cars to run well in these races.

People.....it's a brand new team that jumped in to the big time boots and all. And if it's that dern easy to make a mockery of nascar, maybe we should be applauding what they are doing instead of giving them spit about it eh?

Stu is getting a chance on the porch with the big dogs. He'll race his heart out today. He'll take the green in a Winston Cup event with the gas mashed all the way to floor. Working your way to the top ain't easy. He deserves all the credit in the world.
..................

Of greater interest to me is that Steve Park apparently has the hottest car out there. omg omg omg omg. To say I'm aprehensive about Steve even being in a racecar would be an understatement. The doctors aren't driving the car.

yeah but i doubt Helton would take back a black flag for STU like they would for some other drivers !

Yes, 71fan, it is a new team. They need time to figure out what they have to do to be competitive in this series. I used to argue that the team just doesn't have the funding, but I don't feel they are using the funding they have as best as they can.

What they probably need is some sort of team consultant to organize their resources and management, but I doubt they can afford it. That's why they've been hiring drivers like Ron Hornaday and Derrike Cope, who can provide input about how their team should be run.

Not taking anything away from Stuart Kirby (he is a friend I talk to), but I just don't know how much you can show your worth when your car is the slowest or 2nd slowest on the track. But when you are trying to get your name out there, I guess you have to take whatever ride you can get. Let's just hope this doesn't hurt his reputation like it did Shawna Robinson's.

I'm with ya on that rp. And like Stu, Shawna had to take the chance with BAM also.

I have no idea about what kind of experience they've got chiefing the car but I would be hard pressed to believe the guy ain't doing everything he knows to get it up to speed.

Not everybody hits the ground running.
