Hope everyone has a good one!

I'm sitting here at the counter watching my lovely girlfreind prepare turkey and all the fixings.....she IS the BOSS in the kitchen if she ask's for help I'm here.....butt if I go in there and mess with her I Could Get A BUTT Kicken :p

Our 13 year old daughter is taking a culinary class in school so she volunteered to help my wife. All I had to do was a couple of trips to the store for stuff the wifey forgot to buy.

Just put the bird in less than an hour ago. Going to be a long day waiting for it to cook.
 
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I am not typically a big eater but I have had one meal today and will not need to tie a feedbag on again until Saturday.

Well, I am at work for 12 hours, 6pm until 6am. But they do cater us a good thanksgiving meal.

Posting some at work to kill time.


A lot to be thankful for:

-My son has made it his 16th birthday, a good kid, I am proud.
-My mom had surgery for breast cancer last week, and all of the lab testing afterwards is good, they got it all.
-My wife can still wear her 0 or 1, sized blue jeans.
-A childhood friend dropped by today, he's doing well, has a beautiful family.
-My marine nephew home from tours in Iraq, and Afghanistan, ...with no physical harm.
-The cowboys won today.
-The bowtie is still the champ
-A traditional old racer type is the champ.



-Has to be a tough day for Susie Wheldon, I hope the love of family and friends helped today. A bittersweet thanks to Dan Wheldon and for the way he raced at Indy. The man had the heart, courage, and passion, and should be remember more for how he lived, and won. He tasted the milk.



-Thankful for no cup fatalities this year.
 
One plate of fixins and one slice of pie is enough for me! I'm FULL but I'm not exploding. Still room left for a couple of beers.
