Well, the only movie theater within an hour drive is only showing HP7 once a day, a 9pm, when all the teenage brats will be leaving the mall.

I was planning on going to a Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning showing so I didn't have to put up with teenagers and their cell phones.

Looks like I'll have to wait for the DVD if I want to see this without little girls interrupting the movie ("Like, what's up girlfriend? Oh, I'm like, at the movie") :bazooka:

For those who don't know me that well, I only go to movies, maybe twice a year... it's more like once every two years. When I do, it's usually a really early showing or a really late weeknight showing. Mainly, this is because of teenagers. Their lives are on their phone -- they can't go through a two hour movie without adding special sound and video effects to it with their phones. Hell, they can't make a ten minute drive without sending off at least 30 text messages.

You know every movie I have ever been to no one is on the phone, maybe find a better theater?

These are the listings.

Waldorf is the ideal theater because it's only slammed at night, the others are slammed day and night.

I'll either have to wait and see for now.

Just got home. Loved the movie. GF and I saw it in 3D.

The last book I read was #5, last movie was #3. After a quick glance of the Wiki for the movie series to get an idea of the story board, and some short thumb-throughs of the online streams, I had no problem catching up to where part2 picked up.

As far as people saying "everybody dies and it's all sad", no, it's not. I think the saddest part was Dobby being killed at the very start.

The 19 year jump at the end could have been done better (it's an instant switch, not even a transition), but overall, it was well produced.

Won't be surprised to see this thing set records for opening weekend.

My wife and daughter are huge fans, so I'll have to go to the theater next week sometime. My son saw it last night.

My niece is a complete HP nut. 26 or 27, currently at law school at Michigan and went dressed as Luna after making her own costume. (she's kind of a geek....)

Called up the theater today, they said they don't know why the movie times weren't listed but the one showing is 3D, they're showing it ten times a day.

I would've loved to go to the midnight premiere, but again, I have a low tolerance for teenagers. These kids can't go ten seconds without texting someone, almost got killed by an idiot teenager driving today.

I haven't been to the movies in a couple of years. Annoying teenagers mixed with higher ticket prices are just a bad combination for me.
