Harvick is lucky that his crew came over to save him from a Major Embarassment! Rudd would have beat the snot out of Kevin! Man that would have been embarrassing for Harvick to get beat up by a Man 20 years older than Him!!!!!

Rudd is Old School and would have certainly put a hurting on Harvo!!!

Harvick better start lifting weights and eating Protein if he wants to start Fights with guys bigger than him!
 
I think they made it worst....the officals would have handled it better. Would have been bad for them both if that would have happened, MAYBE Rudd isnt that stupid.
 
:lol: I do have to agree with that. But age has nothing to do with it. Harvick is not a big person at all. Has to put weights in his pockets to keep the wind from blowing him away.

If not for the crews, what happened prob. wouldnt have been so bad. I think the officals can keep their cool beter then the crews. :unsure:
 
I think it'll also the crew's (crew chiefs) job to try and settle down their driver is situations like that.
 
Seriously, someone was sleeping on the job, LOL...but who could sleep threw that :lol:

rudd couldn't defend himself against a engine builder (and throwing aquafina ain't defense).

That was a little different though IMO. Rudd didn't know what was about to happen and that's what I call a cheap shot.
 
Well, Kevin throws Hans Devices, Ricky throws water bottles, we need Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson over here !

I respectfully disagree. Remember, this is a fistfight not a water bottle throwing contest. Harvick is 5'10'' and Rudd if I'm not mistaken is 5'7 so Harvick could easily wrestle him to the ground. And Harvick does have the help of Jimmy Spencer :lol:
 
We should know by the end of today what course of action will be taken with both teams.

Ya know, Harvick was on the wrestleing team in high school. :) Really, he was.
 
Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson, LOL! I was thinking Roger Clemens might be more helpful, but what the heck! :D

Anyway, all kidding aside, I think that all the crews milling about made matters worse, it's like any type of fight, the two guys who start the fight can usually get it over and done fairly quickly, it's everyone taking sides that cause the large mob scene. But whattaya gonna do?!?
 
I say go ahead and let them fight, then suspend both of them for the rest of the season...after that you would never see another fight again after a race in NASCAR. Too bad we didn't get to see more of the winner!
 
You mean there was a winner? Geeeeez I must have missed that part! :lol:
 
I think that redrock was referring to the winner of the race, Ryan Newman. ;) NOT the "winner" of the pathetic display of childish behavior that was going on on pit road.

And before anyone jumps, I agree that Harvick had reason to be angry, just that he should have handled it in a more adult fashion.
 
Yarrgghhh ! I'd say let ye teams fight and get ye it be over with !!
