When you say you'll pick me up, 8:30 am in this case, and at 9 you call to say you're running late. Well don't expect me to be over joyed and jubilent when you finally arrive. KWIM?

Of all my various faults, tardiness is not one of them. In fact, few things annoy me as much as being late - especially if someone else is depending on me.
I'd rather take a beating than be late. Early is a good thing.

My kid had a football game yesterday.Supposed to start at 5 PM.Other team coming from Desoto didn't load up and leave their school till 5 PM.10th Grade football team.Needless to say the game didn't start till 6:30 and on top of that it was 104 degrees yesterday.Alot of angry people yesterday.

People who are responsible are on time. People who are late are disrespectful.
Mike. could you not have protested the game. The other team should have been made to forfeit. That's what happened with my one grandson and the team they were playing showed up an hour late.
