I've met more drivers than I'm going to take the time to list here. It might not always be easy, but drivers are generally accessible by the public. Depends on the driver, but there's always a way to meet them and get their autograph if you want. That's one of the things I really like about this sport.

I can't say that I've had the opportunity to "meet" a driver other than in hospitality areas. I don't call 15 seconds a meeting.

I have been able to have several close and long conversations(over a couple of bottles of beer in the bar) with Buddy Baker. Love talking to that man. :)

If you ever meet him, be sure to get the story about how he ripped his pants at the Dega museum. hehehe

I have had a few beers with Jimmy Spencer before. It was about 5 or 6 years ago in Charlotte. I had my back turned to him and I heard a voice start talking about how much his car was a piece of s(#^ the previous week, so I turned around and it was Jimmy talking to a friend of his. So i started talking to him about racing and we ended up having a few beers and a few laughs together.

Yup he is a driver in the IRL. I met him at a Menards a few years back ( when he was drivign for john menard) when the one here was having its grand opening.

Haven't watched IRL in awhile and was working through the Indy 500, so irl names escape me these days.

Now give me a nascar driver name, and I can give you their history in the sport back at least a decade. hehe.

I can do that too. name the history of most cup drivers in the past decade, if not longer!

I am like TRL. If you want to call a 2 second hand shake a meeting then I have meet Rusty Wallace and Richard Petty.

Kevin Harvick, Ryan Newman, and Rusty Wallace to name a few..

I've met Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle (surprise surprise), Michael Waltrip and whole lot of others.

I've met Tony Stewart, Ricky Craven, Kyle Petty, Steve Park, and Ken Schraeder. But I'd like to meet Jeff Gordon, and Sterling Marlin

I met Kenny Irwin and Tony Stewart many years ago when I was still little after a sprint car race where Irwin beat Tony. Also have a shirt with their sigs. Sad that Irwin was killed. But it is pretty neat to remember talking face to face with Tony without crowds surrounding him before he was really famous just like ordinary people. Really neat memory.
