Have you gotten your Census form?

I delivered the third and final card for the census yesterday. It was only a reminder that you should have gotten the census form and that the law requires you to fill it out and send it in. One of the last people on my route met me at the door and said that she hadn't received her census form yet. I gave her the mail with the card on top and told her that would tell her what to do.

BTW, I see now that if you don't fill the form out, it won't be an ACORN member coming to your door. Seems they are out of business. Oh darn!
 
I got it. It took my wife about 10 minutes to fill it out. About five minutes of that was spent on race related questions. Oddly enough, with all of the stuff they had about race, there was no box to check for Appalachian-American. I'd have gladly checked that box.
 
Got it about a week or so ago. Got another one yesterday, maybe because our son lives here too?
 
The only thing we got so far was a card in about 4 different languages saying "If I need help filling out the census form call this 1-866 number.

Well, I got both.

And I filled out the census form and mailed it back immediately last week.

Yesterday I got a post card reminding me to return my census form. :rolleyes:

What a huge waste of taxpayer money. :mad:
 
I got the pre letter warning me it's coming, I got it itself, and I got the postcard reminding me it is the LAW to fill it out. Funny if it was the law to fill it out why do they need to spend so much money advertising for it?
Also it has spots for up to 12 (I think) people in your household. I don't know about you but 12 people in one house would drive me crazy (crazier).

We haven't recieved the letter saying the census is coming either.That card we got I think was a big waste of money to send out.That info could have been/or already is on the census form.That's the only thing that was on that card was If you having problems filling out the census form call this number.
 
I would bet even when people do send in their census forms they will still have people coming to the door asking for the same info and saying we didn't send it in.

I didn't include a phone number. I don't have a land line and I will be damned if they get my cell that easy :rolleyes:

The post office does because they deliver the mail. LOL

One of the major problems is most GPS maps are wrong. In fact, they've got one part of my road following the powerline right of way. On most, my section of road doesn't even exist.

And ACR is simple --- Anderson County Road
 
we got the letter 2 weeks ago and the census form last week. filled it out and mailed back the next day. first i've heard that a card was out also. maybe that will come this week. <g>
 
ACR, well I guessed the CR stood for County Road. Never saw the county named though. Similar to FR's I imagine, Farm Road's.
