For those of you that are intested I see that their tickets go on sale tomorrow morning @ 10am. I renewed my truck tickets back in September. When I called to upgrade my campsite this past Monday it took me more than an hour to get through and finally speak to someone. I thought maybe some of you out there might like to go to this next one so here's your chance. Maybe it would be a good gift for in that stocking?

I thought you had a premium spot this year. Where did you move to?

I was trying to move two spaces over to get on the end of that row. No luck. Those two spaces were already renewed. We will be in the exact same location next year.

I renewed mine in September also and last Monday it took me two and a half hour's to get through to upgrade my campsite but they didn't have what I wanted so I'll have to suffer through with what I had last time, a single camping spot. :D

Turn back now other forum members. This is just a circlejerk for the three of them to get their itinerary straight in order to check out how awesome a driver Austin Dillon is.

Whoa now, what's with the bombs this early in the morning?

I didn't think that it would be that hard to get through. I can set my phone to automatically redial when it encounters a busy signal. I started it dialing at 8:59am. It took until 9:47 to get through and then I found myself on hold for about another 20 minutes or so before I spoke to someone.

It sure seems like most of those that were there for this past race are coming back. I was only trying to move my campsite over those couple spots but I guess my neighbors will be back.

Did anyone out there try to move or upgrade their seats? I'm just curious how that went. We just kept the same lawn seats.

We had better put this to a vote and nominate a pivot man.

One vote for Jeff....;)

How much are tickets for the lawn seats, and prices for camping? Is it per person or how's that work. I have 2-3 friends who want to go with me. Can we camp the night before the race, or just the night of? Any tips or advice would be appreciated; I definitely want to go to this race!

I know lawn tickets are $36 for race day. That's all I've got though.

Everything you asked can be found here: http://www.eldoraspeedway.com/home

Tickets and camping is cheap and yes, you can stay several nights.

Camping is $40 for a campsite. They open up the camping on the Friday before the event. You can camp from Friday through the next Thursday, the day after the event. They also have free camping there that is first come, first serve. They had plenty of those sites available this past summer.

The race is $36 for general admission seats. That lets you sit anywhere in the grass. Those are the seats that I have and I wouldn't do anything different.

You cannot carry beer through the gates of the track. Beer is $2 or a deal of $10 for a 6-pack including ice. Food is cheap also.

Get on the phone early tomorrow for tickets if you want to go. You won't be sorry.

I have four tickets and 2 campsites. My total bill was $229 which included a $5 processing fee. It is worth every freakin penny!

Awesome, good stuff. Thanks!

Does anyone there go tent camping, or is it just RVs and campers? I have a rather large tent that I would like to make use of.

Anything you need to know, feel free to ask here or PM. I've only been there once but I did my homework while I was there. Tony does things right at that track.

I am not sure that they alow tents in the track campground. My wife says that she thinks that there were tents in the free area. I can't remember. Could have been the beer?

Right next door to the track property is another camping area. Try this link to see what they offer.

More info here on camping. They don't allow tents in Lot #1 and Lot #2 but they do in the grass area of Lot #3 & Lot #4 so it looks like you are good to go. Go there and the click on the campground overview section for the rules.
