In hindsight, I should have originally posted this in chit chat last year..
Did some wire Management today on my Main set. Routed everything into the main coil , eliminates the "spaghetti " effect that used to cascade downward. The remote push to talk is a blessing, as I used to get tired of the earcup button.
I usually run an older Radio Shack scanner in conjunction with the RE 3000, the Shack one is dedicated to the tower. "Put it out."

I enjoyed David Hoots for years. The tower chatter is quite entertaining, and 'ol David made the races memorable.

Any electronic techs here?
My headset #1 w/remote PTT sends fine to headset 2, which has no remote PTT, but headset 2 produces a squeal in my headset #1 when transmitting to me.
Do I need 2 remote PTT switches, or just use the earcup push switch on both?
