I love the Allmans, but I can't honestly say they are my favorite Southern Rock band. I always leaned more toward Blackfoot and Molly Hatchet, although I have recently been indulging in some Georgia Satellites.

The Allman Brothers are good. Downloaded a few songs from them lately.

Off the top of my head, I'm more of a Rolling Stones, Hendrix, Van Morrison, Doors, Beatles, Kinks, Beachboys, Chuck Berry, Gordon Lightfoot, Mamma's and Pappa's, Blues Brothers, Cream, Clapton, Lynard Skynard, Eagles, Frampton, Metalicca, Nirvana, Creed, Pearl Jam, Barenaked Ladies, Gear Daddies, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soul Asylum, Strokes, Rage against the Machine, Bloodhound Gang, Sublime, Green Day, Ramones, Nine Inch Nails, OFG kind of guy I'm sure I missed about 10 more bands, but you get the drift!
