Heh- Harvick Went After Shrub Today

I dozed off and on during the race so I couldn't quite remember what happened. This jogged my memory, but I didn't see the "action" after they got off of the track. I took a snooze.

Here's a snip of the article:

"Ron Hornaday, who came into the race leading the points, was spun out by Kyle Busch on the last lap, raising a huge cloud of white smoke that the whole back of the field had to drive through. But Hornaday remained low on the track and NASCAR left the green flag out to the end.

Hornaday, who began the last lap in the 100-lap event seventh, wound up 23rd, the last truck on the lead lap. He fell to third in the standings, with Benson, new runner-up Bodine and Hornaday separated by just 21 points.

After the race, Hornaday and car owner Kevin Harvick sought out Busch in the garage and there was some yelling and finger pointing among the trio before things calmed down.

"He just drove into me because he got mad because I took us four wide and passed him cleanly," Hornaday said. "Halfway through the race, he showed me he was upset because he lifted the back of the truck up. If he is going to race that way, that is pretty chicken. He doesn't deserve to be a racer.

"He has a lot of talent, but that is just flat stupid. I don't knock any other driver, but I will tell you what, that kid has just about done wore me out. I don't know if I have to give up this championship to teach him a lesson. I hope I don't hurt him because, if Joe Gibbs lets him do this, I am ashamed for them."

Busch, who got started on another weekend tripleheader with a seventh-place finish, said the bump wasn't payback for an incident this year in Charlotte.

"I just got into him. Sorry about that," Busch said before Saturday night's Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway. "But remarks from Harvick and Hornaday are what they're going to be, they're big mouths anyway and so we'll take it and get on with it and hopefully beat them out for this championship."

When is nascar going to do something?

Everyone talks about how great of a driver Busch is....his he really that good if we hear week after week..."I just got into him"?

No doubt he can drive fast...but he apparently cant keep from wrecking other drivers.......someone needs to do something quick or someone is going to get hurt.

Hornaday's a pretty mean Jose and no one to mess with. Busch will learn a lesson sooner than later and it will probably come from someone that's a regular in the truck or Nationwide series.

Do you ever watch the truck races? It's like a hockey game out there from every single truck. I don't think there's ever been a race where someone hasn't roughed someone up to get a position. Bodine, Hornaday Skinner, everyone of them are as rough as can be.

That, my friends, is what sets the truck series apart from the others.

But, it's not just the Truck Series. It's the Truck Series, Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series. And it's every single week.

It's especially angering when he makes statements such as "I'll wreck as many cars as I need to" and then wrecks championship contending cars in minor league racing divisions.

Too bad Shrubbie ran to his Nationwide race so fast. It would've been nice to see Harvick and Ron Hornaday whip his ass. :D

I agree....I got problems when he tells the media he's going to go out there and wreck people...and when he does it, he acts like it was a mistake.

Someone needs to have a real "chat" with the pinhead.

If he is going to act like that he needs to keep his hiney out of the trucks.

Hey, at least he doesnt fool around in arca.

Kyle, if you're reading this, DO NOT GET ANY MORE STUPID IDEAS.

Would Mr. Helton please bring Mr. Kyle Busch into the hauler please?

Seriously. I'd give him more credit as a racer if he wouldn't be so wreckless and claim he doesn't care how many wrecks he causes. Then even when he wins, he has to mouth off about something. The kid can drive, but he has a lot of maturing to do. It's almost laughable for him to talk about Hornaday and Harvick with the way he mouths off all the time. Pot meet kettle! I did rather enjoy his very short response after the Nationwide race. Best interview he's given all year. Are you going to Milwaukee? "I'm done." awwwwwwwwwwww...

I missed it. What's he say about Happy?

Hornaday is the kind of dude that will remember this when kyle is making a pass for the lead some where down the road. Hornadays response will be " I just got into him and messed up" harvick will laugh his ass off and on to the next race.

Kyle has forgot rule #1 in racing no matter what level "Race others the same way you want them to race you"

yea, I like how kyle said "We're 200 out, we cant win it, so we're gonna go to the backup plan and go to the races we origionally planned to attend".

In other words, JD finally said enough's enough, get back to the cup hauler.

NASCAR is doing exactly what the plan on doing, reaping the rewards, people buying tickets, Kyle Busch is great for NASCAR.

Some how, all of you whiners have forgotten Hornaday absolutely stuffing Harras truck a couple of years ago, after he said he was going to do it the week before, brain fart? And Hornday stuffing Bodine last year a couple of times after threatening him, and there supposed to be friends. And Harvick, I can't count the times he stuffed people, the only reason he isn't doing it now is he can't catch any one. The truck series is the WWF of NASCAR, get used to it.

Don't like Kyle in Nationwide or Sprint Cup? Don't rout for him, cause he sellin' tickets my friend and that is OK by me!! Duane

Yeah...it's ridiculous, Hornaday would NEVER think about spinning anybody on purpose. Give me a break, Harvick & Hornaday are both boneheads & I feel sorry for neither of them. Harvick is all show & no go. How many "almost" scuffles has he had ?? Always a convenient official or crew member there to keep him from getting his block knocked off. He really needs todrop the tough guy thing, it's not working...

KY's selling tickets?

I disagree there. Junyer, Jeff and Smoke are the ones selling the tickets my friend. Much like Danica is the one in IRL, Junyer is the one in Cup. Nobody's there to see KY. They're just going to boo him (which apparently KY doesn't mind) and cheer louder when he slams the wall.

Apparently Kyle's been doing something other than just slamming the wall...

Come on now, I know your better informed then that, don't play dumb. Wasn't it Wheeler that said his ticket sales doubled after the Jr./ Kyle deal? I believe so!! Controversy sells tickets. And if you'll do a little checking, Kyle's trailer sales have increased significantly. I think people like to associate with the bad boy aspect and to chisel the Jr. fans a bit. I know I have a stack of Kyle hats!! Duane

You like KY because he's a pompous, much like yourself.

Do you think.....wait:confused:nevermind;). Me and the Whizzer have already discovered the answer to that. :D

Kool!!!! I don't think I have ever been called that, I'll take that as a compliment!!!!!

Good point RCR, didn't like the other side much, no controversy or fun for that matter. LOL You'll get used to it.
