Helio Castroneves

didn't see much of helio. but his dance partner had me tuned in. :D oh, wait... did i just admit to watching that show?!?!?!:eek:

I tell you, when the announced that he would be on the show, I thought I might give the show a try. Every Tuesday, I had every intention of watching at least the results show, and i'd turn on the TV. Well, every Tuesday I ended up watching about 2.3 minutes of the show. Just can't take it. I did keep track though, and last night watched a whopping 8 minutes of it, just enough to see the winner, and wee Helio get handed a plasic quart of milk.
 
Tuesday, well that explains why I've never watched the show. 8 is NCIS and 9 is House and 10 is a recorded The Unit.

But after the show was over Helio and his G/F who he was to marry broke up, and he is rummerd to be seeing the gal he won the comp. with.

I heard this is like the 8th relationship the show has caused.

Wow, abc got rid of the stroy already. Interesting. I wouldn't doubt that the show is causing breakups.
 
Nah... they're just friends. Helio's just such a likeable guy. I didn't watch all of it, but did tune in to try to catch him dancing and was glad to see him win. He was SO excited!!! He just about jumped into Jeff Gordon's arms when he saw him on Good Morning America. Too funny.

Since the end of the show Helio and his girl parted ways and over the past few months he has basicly dry humped an chick so yeahhhh nothings happaing between the two....plus it always starts as friends. ;)

LOL - OK.. but apparently, the relationship with the fiance was over way before the end of the show, they just kept it quiet because of the show. That girl is only 18 I think. I didn't realize she was so young. I guess time will tell, tho'. How old is Helio anyway?
 
Aliette Vazquez was the same age, 32, as Helio and had been with him for 6 years.
