ok....i know some of you guys know a decent amount about cars.....Ive got a 2002 Nissan Frontier.....apparently my ignition switch fuse keeps blowing.....any ideas what the problem could be?

This sounds like a great question for Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers, otherwise known as Tom and Ray Magliozzi. You might want to go to their web site and ask them. Good luck.

well i got two more fuses this morning....put the first one in and had the gf crank it up....as soon as the motor turned over the fuse blew....so put the second one in and before i could get all the way in it blew as well.

so i had it towed to the nissan dealership this morning....i hope its nothing serious......damn cars!

Sounds like your starter is drawing too much on your electrical system, could be it is shorting out as you crank the engine?

well it turned out to be a bad wire going to the ignition switch........200 bucks later its fixed.

funny thing is, the fuse that blew, they didnt have a replacement for it so they sautered it together until the fuse comes in......shouldnt a Nissan dealership have fuses for their cars?

the same fuse i got at Napa for $2.89 they were going to charge me $20.00 for...i think i'll go to napa and get the fuse instead of getting it from them....geez.

but its running again...thank god.

Kat DID say it was probably electrical :D

The reason the dealership will charge so much is LABOR!
