Help - Race Scanners

I need some help. I was at Bristol and met a lady that had a pager-size scanner that could be bought there. I wrote it down and gave it to my mother to purchase it for me for Christmas. Should've known better, she lost it and my brain has failed. Does anyone know? Help a soul out here!

BINGO - It's raceiver. It blended two names together!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Christmas present will be ordered within the week from her!!!

Believe it or not, the gal turned around and sold her "handheld" the following day at the track. She doesn't use the ear buds though but a full headset. Said it's the best thing her husband has bought her in a long time :) Smart man!!!

I listened it (which I wasn't sure how it would be considering how loud Bristol was) and I was amazed. I usually go to Michigan and Richmond which is quieter so it'll rock steady!

Thanks BIG TIME to majestyx for knowing the name. It's been driving me batty for a week then took me a while to find a forum.

Well, we're glad you could join us. Hope that now you got your info you will stick around. :waver:

Again, you are most welcome. I have to make a confession tho'. I cheated and had to look in my latest edition of Nascar Scene to find the name for you. I was pretty sure that was the one you were looking for.

Oh, and welcome to the board! Hope you plan on sticking around! We have a pretty nice place here to gab on! :waver:

Yes, I am noticing that... It is similar to a fantasy football which I think is run by the same. I'm more into Nascar than football, but no one runs a fantasy nascar around this town.

I wish I would've found this before we went to Bristol to get some clues...

I'll be using the Raceceiver at Charlotte in 2 weeks. I'll be sure to let ya'll know how it works out.
