Floods and lightning and tornadoes, oh my. :eek:

Tornado hit just across the Potomac in Stafford the other day. It made touchdown again in Pomonkey, but it didn't do any damage.

It's about to get exciting. It's not the storms now, just the amount of rain. With more rain due Wednesday-Friday, flooding is a big problem. The waters haven't fully receded from the last storm yet.

Flood Warning.

Accokeek is flooded. There's major reports of flooding down in extreme Southern Maryland.
 
Alexandria, Fairfax and DC; Major Flooding.

This looks like a hurricane, it's starting to form sort-of an eye and all of this rain is going to wrap back around the center of the storm and continue through tomorrow.

Maybe schools get closed and I don't have to work tomorrow. :(
 
Mandatory evacuations - Huntingtown in Fairfax, and parts of Calvert County. House collapse in Calvert, 1 person remains trapped.

I'm gonna go get some sleep, be back up in a few hours. ;)
 
I really can't believe all these massive storms! I feel so horrible for the people that are being affected by them :(

I guess this all proves one thing.... You can't screw with Mother Nature!
