Thanks. I really want broadband, but can not get it here for under like $50/month as far as I know.
 
I know what you mean 4x. I'm still stuck in the dial up world myself. I just can't justify paying that much money a month when the only thing I do is come here, read the drudge report, and send email.
 
That's all you do, because that's all you can do.

I love downloading movies, full albums and games.

Couldn't imagine spending $1500 on something to only read email.

I didn't spent half that much on the pc, but have added many toys, software etc.
 
I spent $0. Mine was a christmas gift last yr. It's not brand new, but it's much, much better than the dinosaur that I was using before this one. One of these days I'll get a brand new computer.......
 
Gotta at least get cable if you wanna have any fun.

Seriously though, I would go without the net before ever dialing up again.

And people that use AOL are only paying $5-$10 less than a full blown cable connection.
 
I build computers on my free time if your looking for a good deal.

Anyway yea broadband owns, get full games, movies, or entire albums, does't take up phone line, not to mention just plain faster.

They dont have dsl or cable here, IF I wanted faster conection I would have to get satelite, and I don't have 60$ a month extra right now.
 
I don't pirate software, and if I did I certainly wouldn't openly admit to breaking federal laws. Be careful smack. ;)
 
I dont pirate really those games and movies are legit. examples are: that army game you posted a link about awhile back and Im very much into amatuer film. I watch alot of ff.

As for the music I have an acount with emusic for my personal use :D

I pay like $20/month for AOL. If I could get faster for like $30/month or so I would. I can;t seem to find anything around here for less than $50/month to get faster. I have Dish Network Satelite TV so I'm assuming I couls use that the same as I could a cable connection, but I just can't find anything affordable right now. $50/month is a lot when you have a wife and 3 kids living off of your paycheck.
 
Serious question, why do you pay so much for AOL when you can get the same exact thing for half that price?

From where? I hope you're not talking about netzero. I had that for like a week and it sucked. I had nothing but problems.
 
I'm dreading the move up to Palestine --- I can't get cable because I'll be outside the city limits.

So, I'll be limited to dial-up on the antiquated phone lines or satellite($600 to install and $60-70 dollars a month.) :(

Looks like the dial-up for me --- if I can find local access numbers. That's a whole 'nother problem. :(
