Just about every single thread in here goes to hell anymore. We get it, you don't like the Chase. Bitching about it to the people that have nothing to do with it can't do anything to help you. Email NASCAR. Call SiriusXM NASCAR Radio and complain on there. The constant bitching about everything is far beyond getting old on this board.

E-mail NASCAR yes, but don't bother with Sirius XM. Any anti-chase sentiment there will get snuffed out rather abruptly.

This is not new. Threads going to hell has been going on about 3 years i know of
 
So the people that dont like the chase are getting stomped out by those who either like it or are indifferent. What makes your opinion more threadworthy than theirs?

This is a public forum where public opinion is, or should be, welcomed as long it is civil. That is where its going to hell In my opinion. Its all fun & well to have a lively, back n forth debate about the Chase until someones throws a personal punch.

The problem is that we keep going back and forth, round and round on this merry go-round. There's just nothing left to discuss and anything we say isn't going to have any impact. Brian France isn't going to suddenly visit our forum and go "Oh gods, you guys are right! We shall bring back the pre-chase points system at once!"

After awhile, it's just annoying and pointless.

And thats your opinion. It doesnt matter more than mine, his, or hers. All of our opinions are equal here :)

We've talked about Danica forever here. We've talked about possible changes that nascar can make forever. We've talked about eliminating the cookie cutter tracks forever. We've talked about making the cars less aerodependent forever. And we always will. Why? Because they are continuing to be talking points in NASCAR and this is the NASCAR racing subforum. The Chase is here to stay, much like the topics listed above, and I dont see why its any different. As long as NASCAR has the chase, it will be talked about.

Go ahead and try emailing NASCAR, don't hold your breath for a response because most likely you will not get one. I am a NASCAR Fan Council member and I can tell you first hand they will not respond. And now that NASCAR.com has removed their Fan Forum section, there is little anyone can do. You see NASCAR says they listen to the fans, but in reality they could care less what we think.

And yes, as with everyone on here I have my opinion and I have the right to express it as long as it is kept civil and cordial.

Maybe you should take it up with Andy. He made the thread calling attention to it and himself. Drama queens like attention.

Actually, threads have been going to hell here since I joined the site back in 05.

Pretty sure they have been since the board was created. That's what happens on boards. Part of it its putting up with stuff we dont like ;)
