The Buckeyes probably would have retaken the number one ranking if they had beaten Purdue, but they lost fairly convincingly at Purdue. There is no shame in losing at Purdue, or at Wisconsin for that matter. All three of those teams, OSU included, are undefeated at home. The Buckeyes lack of depth really hurt them yesterday. They only play 6-7 guys per game. I've been afraid to see what would happen if anybody got into foul trouble, and I saw it yesterday. It wasn't pretty. William Buford and Jared Sullinger both got into foul trouble early and there is a very significant drop off when either, much less both, of them have to sit. I can see that crushing them in the Tournament.
