I don't think half are qualified to be a dog catcher. I am glad I don't live in Monroe. If Mayo get gets back in, the Civic Center might go up in smoke one night to get the ins. money. Maybe it is insured with State Farm.

Yeah, I agree with you on Mayo, everything I read about him is he is a total idiot. I just don't get it, the mayor gets a raise but the city can't afford to give the police and firemen a raise. Mayo's house will catch on fire one day and they will tell him they can't afford to come put it out. :lol:
Everything he has done was illegal. He was the tiebreaker vote to make himself mayor. He stole from the police retirement. He voted himself a big raise. The only one he cares about is himself. I am glad I don't have a mayor.
The only thing worse is the Ouachita Polce Jury. At leaste they might all go to jail. Sen. Charles Jones should be in jail and disbarred. Monroe is just one big zoo.
They wonder why State Farm is leaving. Delta was ahead of their time; they left years ago for Atlanta. Centruytel would leave too if they didn't have that multimillion dollar building they just built.
No one can blame this on the president.

Hey Tab, how's the mayors race going today, have you heard anything yet?
I think it will be a run off between Mayo and Spatofra. It will be a black vs. white thing again. With Monroe 65% black you know who will win. I think the northside should anex to Sterlington. They pay all the taxes, but the money goes to the southside. Sterlington is growing so fast. They went from single A to AA. and will be a AAA school before the next reclassification.
Mayo can steal some more from the state if he gets re-elected.
