no tab, I don't think I will make that one. Bearcat Stadium isn't big enough for me and the crowd that will be there. Plus no sense in me going to watch the butt kicking the cats will get over there.
I feel for the both of you! As an Oklahoma fan, I sometimes hide my face. But you have ta enjoy the fun at the old ball game. Haven't been to a college football game in years.
Still, high school football can be very fun. Now high school ball was something that I watched often when I lived up in Iowa. Seems that area was more football minded than it is here, not that they don't have a bunch of hype for it here. However, basketball seems to be the norm here in North Carolina.
While I'm here, it's a good thing NASCAR doesn't have any thing to do with football in this country. They would surely ban the nickname Rebels from the list of allowed names. Last month our local racing modifieds traveled up to Martinsville to vie against the northern boys who used to be the Featherlite Modifieds, but are now the Whelen Modified Series. Anyway, one of our local boys painted his car in the image of the General Lee, complete with the stars and bars on the roof and the 01 number. NASCAR made him totally cover the roof with blue tape and to renumber the car.
The NCAA is trying real hard to do the same thing. Our local university uses indians for a mascot, and the NCAA wants them to find a more PC mascot. It won't be long and Ole Miss will have to do away with Rebels too.
