These ratio's are pretty dog gone good. I won at Pocono (where I traditionally stink). I think the rear end at Talladega is wrong though? 4.00 topped me out at 177mph.

I haven't tried all of them but they are better than mine were so far. On several of them i had to tweak 4th gear down a couple of notches to keep from blowing motors. I guess it depends on braking tendencies and driving style.

Great work Happy, gotta give you props

note: lower tire pressure really gives you great acceleration and puts these ratios over the top

my online name is Hawk132, give me a shout if you want to race, I'm better than average but not great

yeah I tweaked daytona gears happy's gears was was toppin out 172 and I tweaked 4th and rear-end and I got it up to 179

for the plate races you can win with the default gears, bump the tire pressure up to 28 for better top end, set the suspension at 55 on the rear, leave it at 50 on the front, this will help keep the car from sliding once the tires get worn, if this is a little too tight for your liking try 48-49 on the front

you should be able to finish high even if you are just starting your career
