Ohhh fury, where oh where are you?

I do notice an increase in loading speed --- almost instaneous. He's been up-grading, I bet.

BTW, the other 2 forums he hosts have been offline today, also.

Me thinks he's been amusing himself. LOL

yea i went and checked OTC too just to make sure i wasn't seeing things.

He's probably acting like me. Gets a computer goody and installs it without warning other people of downtime or lack of communication.

Whew!!!!! LOL Had me worried for a bit. Even E-mailed
someone to see what was up.
Glad to see the board is back and running fine, as usual!!!!

Yeah, it does seem to load very fast. Tried it several times to make sure. :)

Turns out fury isn't even home. He's been fishing in Wisconsin --- but he's on the way back.

Wonder if his servers have gotten a life of their own? Maybe we'd better run for the hills. LOL

I thought that maybe it was just me downunder that might be experiencing problems. Glad its sorted

in laymens, that means that something in Linux or the server BIOS went astray when the new hard drives were installed. It's obviously happening at the same time daily, or so it seems to me. i'm wondering if a defrag utility might have somehow got enabled, or if maybe the power grid is becoming upset or the hard drives are overheating. I know SATA drives tend to run a bit warmer than PATA, and they consume about 1.5 times the wattage.

just my uneducated guesses.

Hmmmmmmm, seems I remember a movie called "Short Circuit", wherein an
AI came to life and had a 'mind of it's own'. LOL
