Remember, "My name's Ernie Boch. Come on down!'' commercials on all the Boston TV channels as well as WBZ and WMEX?
I didn't catch the whole report on the news tonight, only that Ernie had passed away.
Sort of another icon from our misspent youth gone. At this rate I'm gonna start feeling my age or somethin'. Geez, I guess nothing lasts forever though.
I don't even know if Boch Dodge is still in business or if the AutoMile still exists.
Haven't had occasion to travel to that part of Mass for years.
