I got some insider information!

The # 19 UAW Dodge Dealers Dodge driven by Jeremy Mayfield will be painted up just like the General Lee for the All-Star Challenge in May at Lowe's Moter Speedway. They are doing this for the Dukes of Hazzard movie that is being released in the Summer time.

As long as Daisy Duke in them short shorts is on the hood, I'm all bout it!!

I went to the Lowe's Motor Speedway sight to try and confirm these rumers and I couldnt find anything on that, but I did find out that they got themselves a brand new web-site. Its really nice and its got a lots of new information. Go look at it.

It wouldn't be the General Lee with out them. But the world is so PC now I dout it will be there.
 
Maybe those idiots who were trying to get a protest together last year and gripe about the flag will be there... :rolleyes:

I can't see them putting the flag on the roof. NASCAR will make the excuse that the number would be distorted or something to that effect. Gotta keep Jessuh Jacksuhn happy....the "hush-money" might not be enough.
 
doesn't sound very solid to begin with anyway, besides, jeremy would have to change his number, right? Nemechek would be the one to drive the 01 car, but the general lee wasn't a chevy, and I don't think the army would be too keen on flying an enemy flag on their car, this sounds like an ad for the website...hmmm

Well, first off, I said I looked at the site and didnt see anything. Second, They are putting ole Dixie on the roof for the movie and your telling me that Mayfield is not like the closest thing to Bo and Luke Duke out there on the track? Jeff Gordon and Uncle Jesse???? Now Jimmie Johnson's wife and Daisy....wellll...
 
Next thing you'll be telling us is that Jimmy Spencer is playing Boss Hogg :)

Can't really see the roof. That was the only place the confederate flag was.
 
Well Uncle Jessie is gonna be played by Willie Nelson, and Anjela Jolie will be Daisey, so I guess anything can happen, but seeing that GOAT at a NASCAR track would be fun whether it's racing or a show car. CMT is showing old Dukes shows 4 nights a week.

Burt Reynolds would be a great Boss Hogg!! :) Hell, I remember Burt Reynolds when he was the first Playgirl Magazine Centerfold!! He had a staple in his navel!! :)

Cooter's assisant? Cooter never had a assisant and what's up with rip taylor, I just have this weird feeling that this movie is gonna be nothing like the series. They have sooooo many actors playing in this movie that never had anything to do with the series.
 
In my best voice of Gomer Pyle, "Goooolly". I'll be damned, will wonders ever cease. I'll bet there were some harsh talk about this somewhere during the shooting of the movie. :)
