High school students who took a trip Thursday to help clean up a Northeast park found more than trash -- they found a man's body floating in the Anacostia River, according to The Washington Post.

About 70 students from The Field School were picking up trash in Marvin Gaye Park as part of a community project when several students saw the body in the water, a school official told the paper.

Police said an autopsy will be conducted to see how the man died.

 I think I'll just leave things dirty if that's what I'm gonna find! :) Poor kids. I know my mom was really affected when she found the body of a boy who had accidently gone in the water, right in front of my brother's house on the beach. He had been missing for a while since they couldn't find his body. :( Fortunately, she saw him from the front window and not up close. The family invited her to his service and they even had her speak, along with the mayor and other people. It was quite a while ago, so I don't remember all the details as to why people like the major and police chief, etc. were there. Mom gave a beautiful "eulogy" on the spur of the moment which really comforted the family. She told them how he ended up at a place that was full of joy with kids playing in the sand and enjoying the water. Mom was shocked she was able to speak like that since she wasn't one for speaking in public.
