as I said on the FB post, that guy must have seen the end of the VIR race this weekend. A Ferrari knocked a porsche's left hand mirror off with a half hour to go :)
 
Go to 1:40:00 and watch the porsche and Ferarri. They replay it shortly after.

 
I wonder if he's done that before - otherwise it was quick thinking to mess with another driver.
 
Sporty car drivers don't like contact, and need mirrors... I wouldn't have been able to resist spinning him after that stunt.

At the kart tracks we had some guys who would reach over and yank your sparkplug wire off. With just one cylinder that toasted your race.
Had a guy try that on my driver... he missed and my driver did a side-by-side body slam in retaliation... should have been just a "pop" but the guy's arm got caught between the karts and sprained his wrist... never saw him try to grab sparkplug wires ever again.
