Labonte returning to TRG for four races: With the second half of the 2010 Sprint Cup season under way, TRG Motorsports and Bobby Labonte have agreed to campaign in four additional races sponsored by TaxSlayer.com. After parting ways following the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway in June, Labonte and TRG Motorsports have agreed to campaign at the upcoming races at Pocono, Michigan, Atlanta, and Texas. For all four races, the car will feature the familiar red and black paint scheme of TRG sponsor Taxslayer.com.(TRG PR)(7-21-2010)


So much for him getting into a quality ride.
 
That's crazy. He acted like they parted on some ill terms and now he's back with them for 4 races.
 
Yeh i thought they had a huge falling out, kind of strange Labonte going back.:confused:
 
He didn't want to start and park for those unfunded races. I'm a fan of Bobby's, but the races that they supposedly ran the entire race, they didn't finish that much better than starting and parking. I'm beginning to feel like he's channeling Lindsay Lohan. Everyone knows how to save him but he still thinks he doesn't have a problem.
 
TRG was competitive with David Gilliland and sporadic sponsorship last year. Just saying.

They were also competitive somewhat when Bobby first drove for them last year. Bobby did get TRG their first top ten.
 
They were competitive at first, but have really fallen off this year.
