The next 5 inductees for NASCAR's Hall of Fame will be announced on Wednesday. I think there are a few sure things as to who goes in next. David Pearson, Darrell Waltrip, and Lee Petty as shoe-ins. Who are the other two that should go in next? Personally, I would eliminate the active car owners that have been nominated. My other two choices would be Cale Yarborough and Glen Wood.

There are at least 50 (maybe more ) founders of this sport out there. In the owner; driver; track operator; media ; crew ; etc parts of this industry. At five per year ,it will be at least ten years before the nominees are even worth debating. No matter what the committee does , some folks will get their feelins hurt , but it's too close to call among the fifty . Any choice will be a fine one. That said , Bill Elliott is a lock this year.

Bill is still active...I don't think he is eligable.

I'd like to see Chris Economacki inducted in the HoF while he's still alive.
