It must have reached clear across the country last night because just as I was about to post an answer to some thread, everything went dead. Must have been quite a large outage and lasted nearly an hour. Was hard to try and sleep without our fan on and of course, when the electricity finally came back on, it seems that all the lights in the house had been left on.

Our power went out about two or three times last night between midnight and around 1 am.........then shorty after that it went out for good..........came back sometime around noon, then off and on a bit. Been on for a couple hours now without going off anymore. But, those damned Santa Ana winds are picking up again. Gusts over 75 mph last night with sustained around 50. Hope it's not as bad tonight.....I'm a little light on sleep. A hurricane without any rain!!

I heard that on the news DEW, and was thinking about you and QT, as well as my daughter and other forum friends in Southern CA. I heard that an 18 wheeler was blown off the road too.
We are cold (36*) with wind chill of 24*. No wonder the dang electric bill is so high.
