Looks like Jimmy is hooked up and ready to finish the job off.

Race finishes at night though.

Won't matter. Jimmie wants to win this thing in style, by winning the Ford 400 at Homestead.

As much as I dislike Jimmie Johnson, I think he will win the race, and the championship. The one thing he's done during this chase is points race. And by points race, I mean go for the win because it pays more points. Unlike many other drivers that would be content just keeping their closest competitor in thier sights, Johnson is actually going for the win. And Gordon, has no choice, he HAS to go for the win. Of course since he's already conceded and waved the white flag, I wonder how hard he'll try.

I'm far, far from his biggest fan - trust me - but Johnson has improved alot as a driver over the past couple of years.

I think he always went for the win but now shows a lot more patience, keeps his car together and knows when to put the pedal down.

It certainly doesn't hurt that the #48 CC has also shown some improved creativity as well. ;)
