Drivers, START YOUR ENGINES!!!!

Scott Stapp did a very poor Anthem (IMO), Pre-Race show was pretty dang good!

...yeah Stapp even looked awake. I've heard in concert he's usually inaudible, and sits a lot.

=)

Jimmie's at least in front of Tony for now. However, it appears to be Carl's race at the moment.

Way to much Hype IMO, speed like like an 2-3 hour pre race, if not more. and NBC had like an hour or so. Some times i wish them guys would just shut up and let em go race.

note the time of this post =)

I'd rather Jimmie finish fourth or fifth if he can't get the championship, because I can't handle another 2nd place Championship finish...seriously.

...f***ing great.

Caution - Jimmie backed it into the wall.

Go get'em Tony.

jiimie is a dumb as** dude you know there is something wrong with the car, why dont you go to pit.? there he goes a**hole

He was probably hoping he'd a get a caution (which he just said in the interview) - you gotta try to win the Championship, and he'd be just as bad off a lap down to guys like the 99, 20 and 16 or if he was parked in the garage.

Like I said - I'd rather have Jimmie finish 4th or 5th than another second, a.k.a. 'first loser'. =)

Next year - next year.

honorary 20 fan for the next few hours =)

Kyle48, please watch your spelling. On here, friggin is better than what you posted. (but I said it out loud at home).

Tony is saved by the "mystery" debris caution, just like in '02.

It's prolly gonna come down to the last lap! Jimmie has dropped to 5th in the standings.
Carl is only 12 points behind Tony as they race!

Agreed. With a tire as low as it was, on tv, how could he not no it wasn't a tire going low. Even other teams commented on it on the radio.... :(

...wow bashing Jimmie whenever possible. I figured him being out would be enough. Wow. Just. Wow.

errr, it's not bashing, inquiring minds want to know. he's the one that said he DID NOT Have a low tire. when he DID.

...he said he thought something was wrong, but didn't think it was a tire. He also said he was trying to make it to a caution if it meant not getting lapped. So, my best guess would be once Jeff (24) passed him he would have pitted anyway.

Someone calling him a dumbass, and your agreement would constitute bashing in most cases, man.

Inquiring minds need to pay more attention to the interviews if they're so interested.

well, they watch the same race I do in the pits, so they should have known the same thing we all knew...He had a flat.

Mabey we'll find out "TUESDAY" when he sees the video. j/k :D

kyle i said he was a dumb ball and i say it again. dont drivers get the situation? i mean the same thing happened to kyle bush, for not pitting, he cut his day short. NOW knowing this..you would espect one to be more careful and listen to what the car is telling you. ALSO JJ didn't know what was going on with the car. maybe he should take some classes on how to know when the car is having problems. just what i think.

i'm not bashing JJ or anything, heck the 5,24,25,48 are my faves but i mean you gotta admit that JJ made a vital mistake by not pitting.

I think it's the difference between going for the win, or trying to tie in football.

Jimmie pits - he goes a lap down, to a decent running Stewart, in a 48 car that is at best mediocre. Even Vickers and Waltrip agreed he had to push it on INC on Speed.

He didn't know what was going on, but how can you even joke he needs to learn more about driving when he's finished inside the top five in the final points standings every year he's been in NEXTEL cup? C'mon, man.

If he pits you'd be sitting here second guessing his 20th place finish talking about how "a champion would have pushed the car. That's why he's not championship caliber." Whilst he finished 3rd to Tony and Carl.

Quit Monday-morning-quarterbacking-it, the guy made a decision to try and win his first Cup, regardless of what it was you can't fault him for it.

^ driving a car and knowing what is going on with it are 2 different things kyle..i did not say jj should learn how to drive but know what its going on with his own car for heck's sake.
