Well, here it is.. The season opener for the 2009 IndyCar Season!! I am so excited!!!

Location - Streets of St. Petersburgh, St. Petersburg, Florida

Date - April 5th

TV Schedule - 2:00pm Eastern - Versus

Course Type - 1.80 mile street course

Distance - 100 Laps / 180 Miles

Qualifications - April 4th - 10:50am - 12:20pm Eastern

Well, here is the entry list for this weekend's Honda Grand Prix. Conquest Racing hasnt announced the driver yet, its either Jaime Camara or Alex Tagliani. The main site has TBA for Vision's #21 car but Ryan Hunter-Reay is in that ride.

Well, Dreyer & Reinbold has picked up Darren Manning for the 2009 season. Now that is cutting it close. Kudos to him. Darren will drive the #23 car for Dreyer & Reinbold and will be at this weekend's St. Petersburg race.

Also, Alex Tagliani was named the driver for Conquest Racing for this weekend's race. I figured that was pretty much a given.

Milka got kicked out of the series :D. NHL doesnt want her and now Dreyer & Reinbold are set for this year.
 
Practice Session 1 results are in. Dario Franchitti tops the speed chart in this first practice. Tony Kanaan didnt run any practice laps.

This sucks, I don't have versus. I really hope Rahal and Wheldon do well this year and its good to see Franchitti back in a car he belongs in.
