Kudos to Versus for their quality coverage this year. :beerbang:

Dont get me started on Versus. The coverage may be good but hardly anyone is watching because the IRL lost more than half of the channel subscribers when they made the switch.

It looks like Mario Moraes will be missing the race at Mid-Ohio this weekend due to family problems. KV Racing has not announced who will take his place. Im thinking possibly Paul Tracy.

Robert Doornbos will be driving for HVM Racing for the remainder of the season. He left NHL after Kentucky. He will be driving the #33 car and be EJ Viso's teammate. He will be in the car starting this weekend at Mid-Ohio.

i hope paul tracy doesn't get stuck in some sort of super-sub category as a driver. he deserves a full-time ride with a good team.

What about Duno holding up Wilson (I think) and letting Dixon get by for the lead? I was listening on the radio at that point and didn't see it but the annoucers seemed to think she should have been parked.

Scott Dixon, Chip Ganassi win again.

The rest is just fluff.

agreed! she is worse than the 'start and park' NASCAR drivers...at least most of them have little impact on the race itself.

Well, Im back now. What a great weekend.

Friday was a nice day. The weather was nice. I got to speak to Danica and her dad again. I spoke with all her pit crew again. I also got Danica to sign that Gentleman Jack whiskey bottle.

Saturday wasnt a good day. It was overcast and rained a little but they qualified. Danica qualified 12th. Her practice sessions werent that good this week. She had a slow car.

As for race day, it was just plain hot! But it was a good, clean race. Only 2 cautions. Unfortunately Mike Conway makes contact with Danica causing her to veer off into the sand. This caused her to go 2 laps down and ruined her day. But she got back out there and finished 19th.
Justin Wilson ran strong today too. An unfortunate pitstop hurt him. He couldnt get his car refired and lost a lot of valuable time in the pits.
Congrats to Scott Dixon though on a great race and for his 20th win.

Here is me and Danica this weekend..
