Hornaday rounds out Harvick team's Busch Series lineup
Kevin Harvick Inc. completed its driver lineup for its second full-time NASCAR Busch Series team and is turning to a familiar face.
Ron Hornaday, who drove KHI's Craftsman Truck Series entry this season and will do so again in 2006, has added 13 Busch races for KHI in its No. 33 Chevrolet next year.
Hornaday joins KHI co-owner Kevin Harvick, two-time Nextel Cup champion Tony Stewart and road racing ace Ron Fellows who will all take turns in the No. 33, which will be sponsored by The Outdoor Channel.
Hornaday, a two-time Truck Series champion, has 158 career Busch starts. He has four wins, 27 top-five and 59 top-10 finishes.
"Kevin and I have known each other and raced against each other for a long time. I'm thankful for the opportunities that he and DeLana have given me and I plan to make the most of them," Hornaday said.
Tony Raines, who competed in 24 Busch Series events for KHI since 2004 will not return in 2006. Instead he will focus his attention toward the No. 96 Texas Instruments/DLP Chevrolet in the Nextel Cup Series for the newly formed Hall of Fame Racing.
