Hornaday had a illigal rear end in pre race inspection. Heard this on Speed.

Saw that too. Something about the rear axle having too much spacing between brackets. Thus resulting in more left side weight.

They found this prior to qualifying, so his team replaced it with a another axle and he qualified pole.

You can expect a fine, points lost, and either probation or suspension for the crew chief.
