So, what's your favorite. That is, if you watch and enjoy horror movies.

For me, The Exorcist.

Little cheesy but very creepy movie. Not really my favorite but a very decent film for it's budget.

I've seen the Exorcist a few times. Those other movies that try to duplicate it fail miserably.
Everything about it was scary as hell. The follow-up movies (II and III) were OK, but even they paled in comparison. The Beginning, a prequel that came out in 2004 was better than the two sequels, but still just OK.

I read recently that some director is adapting the original into a 10 part TV series. I'm a bit skeptical.

My Favorite horror movie is Stephen King's "The Shining". Jack Nicholson was amazing.

Stephen King's IT. That movie is the reason I'm scared of clowns. It's not that scary today but 18 years ago, it sure was.

The Shining, The Exorcist and A Nightmare on Elm Street (the original) are up there.

IT wasn't that great, I didn't think. I mean it was decent as Stephen King mini-series go but The Stand was better, I thought. But Pennywise did give my wife the creeps as well.

I always had kind of a soft spot for the original My Bloody Valentine. The Return Of The Living Dead was pretty awesome as well. The first few Friday The 13ths were pretty good too. I haven't seen anything that would be considered a true horror movie in many years. I've never been a really big horror movie fan even when I was seeing stuff like Friday The 13th at the theatre. I much more prefer stuff like Silence Of The Lambs, Hide And Seek, and the like.

I can't remember the name of the movie that I saw "way back when" but it scared the beejezus out of me. Something about giant rats or some other rodent --- people were on an island and kept trying to get to the boat to get off. I was in my early teens and decided right then that horror movies were not my thing.

I've always said that The Exorcist was was the mov\ie that scared me the most, but since then, I've found that the movie "The Blair Which Project" is more scarier. I guess the reason is that you have to use your own imagination as to what scares you in the later. In reality, the unknown is what really scares us.

A lot of people hated Blair Witch. I loved it. The promotion alone was so new, and the whole "found footage" aspect was fantastic. Scared the crap out of me.

While it's raining in MI, started wathcing "don't go into the woods." Looks pretty terrible so far. Hope some people get whacked soon.

Now the second Blair Witch is another story. God what a mess of a movie.
