:mad: I am sitting here enjoying my snow day off work today. So I turn on the tube and i get this message on screen:

Thank you for perchasing hot pass, you have agreed to pay two payments of 49.95 We hope u enjoy your program. Payment was maid at 5 am. Program aired at 5 am.

Ok so I call direct tv and they say I perchased it. First of all I dont get home from work till 2 am And I sure as hell aint going to be up at no 5 am.

So they say they are taking it out of my bank account. The women on the phone that I didnt buy anything. Se says her records show we did. So i tell her to shove her records and let me talk to her supervisor. After 3 1/2 hrs of arguing on the phone he tells me their is nothing they can do the show has been perchased and veiwed. How the hell did i veiw it if its not racing season yet?

This is a bunsh of b.s. I am thinking about contacting my lawyer and terminating my contract with direct tv.

What are yor thoughts?
 
Boy, I feel for you! I had dish network and I cancelled it with in 14 days..because of something similar to that. I hate when they have control of your credit card or bank account. I made a deal to get out of my contract for 200.00 instead of the 275.00 they wanted. :eek:

Hot pass is 100.00, holy crap!!!
 
Yeah, I tried Hot Pass once but she slapped me and said I better never do anything like that again...
 
Its a done deal! I canceled payment, the direct called ands said they are canceling service i say so? and he hung up
 
Nobody has ever got control of my bank account...and never will! I hear horror stories almost weekly about mistakes and outright theft from supposedly honorable companies. Anytime someone else, anyone else, has the ability to withdraw from an account you can count on it being misused at sometime in the future.
