Hotels near Rockingham

I wanted to know, for all you Carolinas folks, where the best places to stay are at. I'm coming down for the ARCA Carolina 200 at Rockingham Raceway Park on April 19th but need a place for 2 nights. Anything in Richmond County costs about $150/night (you can stay at the National Harbor for that much:eek:). Are there any areas between Rockingham and Charlotte you'd recommend?

Andy I went to The Rock a couple of times and from what I remember it is out in the middle of nowhere. We tent camped.

pretty much. if there were hotels nearby, NASCAR would still be there.
 
I use the cheapest hotel there is, park outside of a rest area or a 24 hour wal mart. I usually travel to a race every weekend, I couldn't afford to do that if i used hotels. Last year I got a free camping pass for Rockingham and parked there. I don't have an RV or anything either.
