How about that Ty Dillon

Yes the boy made a rookie mistake early ( I've watched the replay multiple times, yes he changed lanes before the line, about 3 foot Damn NASCAR  ) and had to pit for a penalty lost a lap. BUTT Then he went out drove the wheels off the truck. Passed the leader under green and made up his lap! Worked through traffic using alot of patience, even though at times he was held up by other trucks racing for position, but he kept his head made it back to the front and wound up with a great 3rd place finish ( he could have ran second but gave the points to his brother )

Great Job Ty!!!

i'm very impressed with the driving skills of both the dillon boys. rcr is going to have some fine drivers for a long time if they keep progressing the way they have.

I agree! They have all of the best opportunities provided by Gramps - since back in the Legends days when RCR was building Supercars for the boys - and that's just how it is. But you have to say that both of them seem to be living up to all of their potential. This in contrast to some other second and/or third generation drivers I can think of...

Great job by Ty and Austin both!!

I was really hoping that James Buescher would win the championship. But for a gallon of Sunoco, he just might have been able to do it!

He ran a good race other than his one mistake at the start. Austin is well on his way to a Championship.

From what I heard the truck did'nt run out of gas the fuel pump drive cable seized in it's housing from being ran to close to the exhuast. Bad break he's another good young driver.

Both of them are good drivers on asphalt and dirt. I really think Ty will be the better of the two.
