It's so bad, I had it on in the background while i'm working on pictures from last night, and I still had to turn it off.

I enjoy it. But I never take any of these shows very seriously. If I like it I watch it, and if I don't then I turn the channel. If there were enough fans that didn't like it, then it wouldn't be on for very long.:)

Kenny and Kyle are fun because you never know what they will say. They are color commentators, so that's what they do. That said, sometimes they aren't funny and they wear on me, so I change the channel.

Oh, Lord have mercy --- you owe me a new house dress. I just sprayed iced tea on this one. :beerbang:

ROTFLMAO
Wow a nice tall glass of sweet tea would sure taste good right now. I may have to make a trip to Micky Dees.:D

Some of us wanted to see the ARCA race... the race that will be on YouTube before SPEED airs it.

SPEED dicked us and put that crap on instead.

It's a really bad show. I don't watch any of those shows. Just turn on when the flag drops and change the channel after.

I watch whenever I can. I don't find it all that much different than some of the stuff that they do during an NFL FOX/CBS pregame show. Interviews with drivers, some silly crap and also some in-depth interviews. If there are enough people out there that are tired of Kenny's antics, he'll be gone, just like Spencer.

I like the show honestly, I like getting to hear the drivers interviews and just watch them have a little fun or something before the race. I'm not one of these "we don't need pre-race crap lets just toss them in the car and send them out there"

Apparently somebody at SPEED told Kenny just to go crazy in front of the camera because that's what he does. He sounds like a complete idiot on there.

A really old thread, just had to resurrect it. Seriously, how can anyone with even half a brain enjoy this crap? Kept the TV on after qualifying was over. OMG, this is pure crap. Damn near threw the TV out the window. Thank God for a working power button.

I use to watch it here and there and I also use to watch all the pre-race shows. Now I don't bother with raceday anymore I just DVR everything and only stop to watch something that looks interesting, which is very rare.

If they're not showing cars on track I don't watch them anymore. They become more and more "challenged" it seems. Wonder this thread had time to die.

How bad is Raceday?

This bad......

When I've been at the track and went to the raceday stage and one of the Waltrips or other unpoular person was introduced the speed girls behind and to each side of them threw hats, shirts, beer coozies and goodie bags into the crowd to provoke a positive response and cheering. Before the naysayers start in, my wife and I have seen this tactic many, many times over the years. Next time any of you are at the stage pay attention to what is happening on the stage when they start throwing stuff.

Now Stenhouse is wearing one if those stupid hats that those Dillon kids have been wearing. Did they all lose a bet?

So when Ricky wears one it's okay but when the Dillons wear one it's not .

I think that hat's cool. It should be black though.

As far as the subject of this thread goes though I'm glad that they have shows like Raceday on. I like watching the interviews from the track prior to the race and they have great access. The personalities on there don't concern me all that much. These people are taking me to the track each and every week. Heck, we can't even all agree on here so they could never put together a show that everyone will be happy with. Some bitch and complain about the racing each and every week, the television coverage, the pre-race show, the post-race show..... Whatever. It's all good to me and I'm kicking back with a beer or three and watching it and enjoying most every minute of it.

A shout out to TNT's pre-race segment with the panel of past and present drivers. That's cool. I have only gotten a chance to see a few minutes of yesterday's segment but that was a great idea by whoever came up with it. I'd like to see the other networks follow suit.

On the prerace part. A fan of JGs or not he should have been on to fill the void between JJ and the older drivers. KP is okay but he is filler because he has been around stock car racing since he was born not because of his driving skills or accomplishments.

I thought Kyle was a pretty good race car driver . Got into some pretty bad equipment and had some bad wrecks that slowed him a bit . He was always good on road courses when a lot of the great drivers weren't . All time win list 61st along with Cotton Owens 59th , AJ Foyt 63rd , Clint Bowyer 67th. That ,in no way , tells the whole story , but we tend to sell him short . When he and Gary Nelson were together , they kicked ass.

Im not selling him short , Ive seen him around in person since he was a toddler and like most humans he has had his ups and downs, his ups were pretty good and his downs were epic, ask Schrader, they used to party together a lot but Schrader has always partied a lot with lots of folks., including Sr. & Jr.
