Awesome year to be a fan of the Murray State Racers! They won 3 pre-season games in Canada and one pre-season game at home. They are at 9-0 with the Championship of the Grate Alaskan Shootout. Wins at Morgan State, UAB, and Western Ky. I know UAB and WKU's season are in the flusher this season but anytime you can win on the road expecially at Diddle (WKU) its a good thing. They won by 17 at home sunday over Dayton & getting a few votes in the polls!

They play at Memphis this Sunday and i'll be at the FedEx fourm rooting them on. It will be a tough game but hopefully they can pull off the win!
 
13-0 #22 in the nation, one of six undefeated teams and are predicted to run the table and go in the the tourney without loosing a game!

I have been to All their games this year but 5. Hoping to go up to Charlston, IL next week!
 
I thought of you the first time I heard that they were doing well. I'm happy for you, man. It sounds like you guys have a hell of a team this year. Good luck! :cheers:

Thanks man! :D I'm looking forward to what else the season brings. I was a little worried going in to this season that with a new coach and loosing some good Sr's last year that the season may start off rough. Was picked pre-season 3rd in the OVC. But they hit the gate running and have not backed off yet!!

They are a sleeper Final 4 team. But win loose or draw this team is just awesome to watch. This could be the 1st time an ovc team has wore white (home) colors in the NCAA tourny. But Andy is right they are from KY. A lot of people have no clue.

They remind me of George Mason from a few years ago....love to see the lesser-known teams pop up and beat the big boys.:beerbang:
 
It is pretty sweet Ferg!

On a side note I've been to 13/19 games and made 11 in a row till lastnight. Been to.all home games and made road trips to Western Ky, Memphis, eastern Illinois, Austin Peay.

I have tickets for the rest of the home games and three road games. will be at Southern Illinois Edwardsville on Saturday. That game will be on espnU.

They finally lost a game and took a hit in the rankings, but came back with a win on the road to SEMO and a huge win at home over a ranked St Marys on saturday, in the Bracket Buster game.

Firday night we camped out at the arena for the game the next day, around 12-15 people camped out and the next day there were people showing up to get in line early in the moring. two hours before the game there were a few 1000 people standing outside in line to go in.

I think the loss may of helped them out, but still sucks. Id rather see them take a L now then in early march..
